Dispatch and Delivery
Every article, save for a belt, leaves us within 48 hours. A belt we hold only long enough to be sure of your size, reaching you by message, email or telephone; hearing nothing, we trust the size you chose and it too travels within 48 hours.
From our hands it passes into the care of the courier. Most orders find their way to homes across India within a week; now and then the roads run slower, and for that we ask only your patience. We write to you the moment your piece begins its journey, with the means to follow it to your door.

Every piece in this house carries a name, and the Amadeo carries the most demanding one of all. In the old Italian it means lover of God, a name for the devoted, and devotion is exactly what this belt asks of the hands that make it.
The strap is a single cut of Spanish full grain vegetable tanned leather, finished slightly raised, so a gentle crown runs the whole length of the belt and carries the light along it quietly, the way good leather should. The buckle is imported, in a brush nickel polish that sits calm against the grain. In tan, it is the lightest of the three, at ease with everything from grey flannel to weekend linen, and it takes its patina generously.

Should the size require adjustment, exchanges are accommodated within the stated period from delivery, with the belt unworn and in its original condition.
The James Aston Lifetime Warranty covers any defect in material or craftsmanship, unconditionally and without expiry. A belt made once, to be carried for a lifetime.
Keep your belt clean and well conditioned. Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth to lift dust, and from time to time work in a little neutral leather conditioner to feed the leather and protect its surface. Keep it dry, store it with room to breathe, and away from prolonged damp and direct heat. Cared for in this way, the vegetable tanned leather deepens into a patina that becomes, over the years, unmistakably your own.
