English Bridle is the leather of the English saddler, dense and waxed, made to be used hard and to age well for it. The Bristol is cut from it and named for an English port city, a wallet of the oldest tradition made for the way a man carries now.
The Bristol is a bifold wallet made in English vegetable tanned Bridle leather, the traditional leather of the English saddler, lined in Italian vegetable tanned full grain natural leather.
Bridle leather is tanned slowly and then curried by hand, worked with tallow and wax until it is dense, firm and quietly lustrous. It is the leather made for harness and bridle, built to be used hard and to last, and it wears not by failing but by deepening, taking on a sheen and a patina that only years of handling can give. Few leathers age so well, and none more honestly.
Inside are two cash compartments, six card slots and two hidden slots, with dedicated slots for a memory card and a sim card, the small things a man must never lose. The whole is secured with RFID and NFC shielding, so the cards within cannot be read without your knowing.
It is lined in Italian vegetable tanned full grain natural leather, a fine and honest leather in its own right, so the inside is as considered as the face. At a single centimetre closed, the Bristol stays slim in the hand however much it carries.
Bristol is an English port city that has always looked outward to the world, and the wallet is named in that spirit, English in its making and made to travel. It is guaranteed for the whole of its life. Crafted once, and carried forever.
We stand behind the making of every Bristol for the whole of its life. Should the stitching, the leather or the construction ever fail, we repair or restore it. The leather is English Bridle, tanned and curried in the traditional way, and it is meant to age. It will darken and deepen into a patina that belongs to you alone. That is not wear. That is the point.

English Bridle is a firm, waxed leather that improves with use. Keep it dry, avoid overfilling it, and buff it from time to time with a soft dry cloth to bring up its shine. A little neutral conditioner now and then will feed it. Marks and a deepening tone are the nature of the leather, not a fault in it. Carried daily, it becomes unmistakably your own.
