The Vincenzo is a key holder made in Italian full grain vegetable tanned embossed leather from the Tuscan Leather District, and lined in Italian vegetable tanned nubuck in a natural honey.
The leather is vegetable tanned in the Italian tradition and then embossed with a raised, sculptural grain, so it carries real presence and pattern in an honest, natural leather. It is a bold face on a small piece, and like all vegetable tanned leather it deepens and takes its patina with the years.
The keys are held on imported metalware finished in brushed nickel and marked with the James Aston initials, so the house mark is with you each time you reach for the door. The leather is folded and stitched by hand, its edges finished and burnished, small work that is only harder to do well at this size.
Vincenzo means the conqueror, a name for the bold and the certain, and the key holder is made in that spirit, a small piece with a presence larger than its size.

This is a natural vegetable tanned leather and matures with handling. Keep it dry, and from time to time work in a little neutral leather conditioner. Marks and a deepening tone are the nature of the leather, not a fault in it. Carried daily, it becomes unmistakably your own.
